Education is highlighted during Community Serve (click HERE to learn more about the serving opportunities available July 8-12). There are several open doors in which churches and individuals can partner with schools in The Winston Salem Forsyth County areas.

Monday, July 8, 7PM
Winston Salem First, 3730 University Pkwy.
Local leaders, Dr. Beverly Emory (superintendent of WSFC Schools), Rodessa Mitchell (WS Chamber of Commerce), and Dr. Sharee Fowler (Community Education Collaborative) discuss the value of school/church partnerships.

Tuesday, July 9, 7PM
Calvary Baptist Church, 5000 Country Club Rd.
Women are invited to hear the testimony of Krishauna Hines-Gaither. The Lord used education to unlock many of her God-given gifts and awaken her to the world around her. From unmotivated high school studetn to Professor of the Year at Salem College in 2008, hear how Krishauna’s life was transformed through education and the platform she now has to transform the lives of her student through education.

Thursday, July 11, 7PM

While we can and should give our time, money, and talents, as Christians one of the greatest resources we have is prayer. This is a pivotal year for the Winston-Salem Forsyth County School system as we welcome a new superintendent, Dr. Beverly Emory. Join us as we spread out across our city to cover our local schools-students, their families, the staff, and the neighborhood-in prayer.
